Long Live the Blokester Network
Hi Blokesters!
According to the Chicago Daily Herald, blogging can be good for business so long as you have something to say, and the Bloke is living proof that you can’t keep a good blogger down.
John Jantsch of Duct Tape Marketing says the number one way that most businesses are built is by referral. Well, Blog Bloke has been saying all along that relationship blogging (i.e. referrals via linking) is still the best way to build your blog.
So in keeping with that thought it is time that I added the next 5 members of the Blokester Network. Here they are in all their shining glory (listed in no particular order):
Congratulations to all and welcome to the network!
Please be sure to visit their blogs and give them all a warm welcome. By the way, it’s easy to join if you want to become a member. I don’t care if you are just starting out blogging, what your pagerank is, how pretty your blog looks, how much money you make, or whatever.
Just be passionate about blogging and link to me. That’s it — and you’re in the Blokester Network! Oh yeah, please also consider adding a Blokester Button to your sidebar and let the world know that you are a proud member of the Blokester Network.
P.s.: If you think I’ve missed you please be patient because you’re probably on the list. I’m doing this in installments of 5 at a time (otherwise Google might think I’m a link farm :). But if you’re really getting worried or believe that I’ve forgotten you then do let me know.

Hey Bloke. Thank you very much for adding me into the blokester network and also linking up to me. I really appreciate it. I haven’t been around these parts in awhile. Need to get back to doing my daily rounds.
Welcome Jeffro.
The Bloke is Back!!! I’ve missed you. Thanks for adding me to the network. What a gift! I’ll be happy to reciprocate. But I think I’ll owe you more than that. I might be needing some help with moving over to the domain I just bought. Things didn’t go very well
Hi Kathy. I needed a break from all the BS. When blogging is no longer fun then it’s just not worth the effort.
The tutorial works so you will need to go over the steps carefully and figure out where you went wrong. It also takes about 24 hours for it to propagate.
Bloke — You are my savior!!! I just moved to my new domain: junkdrawerblog.com and everything WORKS!!! Even when I enter it without the “www” prefix. I did have one problem that I resolved today. Apparently my domain was “parked” and I had to un-park it. After that, I went over to Blogger and did the redirect and now it works! You have NO idea how happy I am (well, maybe you do know). I’ve been so worried about making this change and must’ve looked at your tutorial a thousand times. Except for the parking thing, everything worked perfectly. YOU ARE THE MAN!! When we say grace at the Thanksgiving table tomorrow, it’ll confuse people, but I shall give a hearty thanks to The Bloke.
Glad it worked for you Kathy. I knew it would.
Happy Thanks Giving and cheers!

Happy to give you some link love!

I have finally made the move to my own domain too. Your network is a great idea. I will do a post about it if you wish - although if you have a lot of people to add you may prefer I hold off for a while?
Thank you for the networking link, Bloke!
I finally found my long lost Blogging Brother
Well, fingers crossed that I have done steps one and two correct… just waiting the looooong 24 hours (did I SAY I had patience??) to finish moving to my own domain. Thanks to Kathy at the Junk Drawer, I was forwarded here to your great site… Love all the tips and tutorials. I will definitely be adding you to my links list. If and when you are adding more blogs to your network, I would love to be considered. Thank you so much for sharing all your knowledge!
Thanks for the love Kathy and back at ya!
Sue, let me know if you write the post and if you link to me I will add you to the Blokester Network. I would also like to welcome you to being a guest blogger here if you wish. Just let me know.
Debbie… you are most welcome Sis
Welcome to the site Maureen and I’m looking forward to hearing good news with your new domain.
Whoo, Hoo! Another satisfied customer… thanks to you and some further hand-holding by Kathy, I am now up on ratherbeblogging.com.
Thank you so much!!!
Excellent!
Hey Bloke, I noticed the link has changed to a direct article I wrote instead of the main page. I wonder if this has something to do with this article being imported from Blogger to WordPress. Just thought I’d let you know.
